Cell Parts Activity Students
will cut out the cards (teacher prints out) and then match
up the Picture of the cell parts with the name. Following
this, students will then place the cell part function card with
the name and picture.
Each classroom will construct the cell membrane and then create a cell organelle to scale for the size of the science classroom. Cell parts will be picked up from each participating classroom and then placed in the room. Following assembly of the room, students will be invited to a "showing" and participate in a number of lab activities and a PBL.
